Planner’s Report
Borthwood is always an attractive little copse and despite the heavy and persistent rain on the Saturday, conditions were remarkably pleasant on the Sunday morning. It is inevitable that many of the control points will be familiar to the older regulars, but the planner tucked a few away to encourage some hunting around.
The Christmas Event has always been one of our most popular so it was disappointing that numbers were down this year.
Many thanks to those who provided the snacks under the beech trees and to the helpers on
the day.
Well done to Mother Christmas who won the shorter course – now where
did she hide that sleigh!
