Wight Orienteers invite you to their orienteering event at Knowles Farm & St Catherines Point on 13th April 2025. Please note that dogs are to be kept on leads.

Parking Area: NO DESIGNATED PARKING AREA. Park considerately along St Catherines Rd. DO NOT park in the Buddle Inn car park! Registration and Start Area will be at the top of a track towards St. Catherine’s Lighthouse.

Cost: British Orienteering adult members £5.00, adult non-members £8.00, family group £8 (£10 non-members), Juniors £1.00.

This is another new area for Orienteering. Chris has been surveying this area
over the past couple of years and is part of a very unique area of National Landscapes (previously Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) owned by the National Trust. Although the area is quite small it has plenty of wild scrubland & an abundance of contour & rock formations making it an ideal area for orienteering. It also has a network of well trodden paths for the easier courses, so don’t miss this opportunity to explore this new venue. The only downside is there is no large car park for assembly. We ask you to park considerately along St Catherines Rd, without parking in the Buddle Inn car park. Then make your way to registration & the start which will be at the top of the track leading down to the lighthouse & farm. Further information will be posted closer to the event including course details and relevant information, but you do not want to miss this inaugural event so make a note in your diaries now!
