The annual WIGHTO quiz walk saw an excellent turnout of over 30 people in nine teams. The walk started in our back garden and ended at the Cedars, where finishers enjoyed a drink in the garden on a very pleasant evening. This was my first time setting a quiz walk and I was afraid that it might have been too easy, with everyone scoring full marks, but fortunately several people fell into one or more of the deliberate traps that I had set, so we got a nice spread of scores. Well done to the winners (Charles, Karen and Juliette Bain Edwards / Three ‘Eds’ are Better than One!), and thanks to all who turned up. I hope you enjoyed it. For all results open HERE.
Volunteers to run next year’s event would be very welcome. This is a good opportunity for members who are not yet confident to set an orienteering course to help your club by organising an event which does not require great orienteering skills.
