Ian and I enjoyed planning our first orienteering event on the Island with a good number of entries – results LINK.
The rain held off for a while and when it did arrive, the competitor’s enthusiasm did not seem to be dampened. Some of the new faces seemed to enjoy the bluebells and heath land setting so much, that they stayed out to find all the controls. Brilliant! It was fab to see competitors having fun.
Thank you to Pete for re-mapping the area and for the team support in the running of the Mottistone event.
The entries for the clubs 50s anniversary event are now open LINK.
