Please join us for a bit of outdoor fun whilst learning to orienteer, or to improve your navigation skills.

The training sessions will take place on one of the Isle of Wight’s permanent orienteering courses (POC). Here, our coaches will introduce you to orienteering and then navigate by your side to find the controls in the forest. You will receive helpful tips and feedback in order to build your orienteering skills at your own pace.

If you are familiar with the basics navigational skills and map reading, then come along to set yourself a timed challenge and complete the POC with coaches at hand to chat to about the course and help you build on your performance.

We hope to answer any questions that you have about the sport, support your growth in outdoor activities and thus brighten up your weekend with some fun and exercise.

All abilities and ages are welcome by the Wight Orienteering Club.
