DESCRIPTION:Join for an orienteering event at Mottistone Manor. There is a choice of courses\, including long score\, short score and orange course events. The meeting point is in the main National Trust car park. \nTRAVEL INFORMATION\nPlease be aware when travelling to the event that Lynch Lane will be closed due to the Walk the Wight Event .\nLynch Lane runs from Calbourne to Brightstone . \nCOME AND TRY ORIENTEERING! \nIf you have always wondered what orienteering is all about\, this event is the perfect time to find out.\nWe will have members at the beginning that will help you to navigate and find the controls. \nIt always nice to come as a group with friends and family for a wonder through the ground. \nWe hope to see you on the 10th of May!

DESCRIPTION:Registration 10.00/ 11.45. Starts 10.30/ 12.00. Courses close 1.30 \nColour Coded Event with courses to suit all capabilities. \nThe event is to be held in the Northern area of Parkhurst Forest. \nPlease park in the main car park\, signed from the Forest Rd. \nNormal club entry fees apply with a discount for members. \nYou can enter on the day. \nParkhurst forest is a mixture of ancient woodland and plantation forestry. We used to use Parkhurst on a regular basis\, in fact it was the very site where our club held its first event. We are really looking forward to revisiting the site\, which is managed by Forestry England.  \nYou are advised to wear appropriate footwear\, full leg cover & take a whistle! \nThank you to Brian Bailey and Chris Pritchett for planning and organising this event. \nWe are looking forward to seeing you there!
